A dark orange cat, dripping with blood, walked up onto the highrock in which her dead Leader used to announce on. "My Dear TC cats." Gingertail paused to breathe and think of what she was to say. "I am sorry to announce the Eaglestar has lost his last life, and that he is now hunting in StarClan."

Hearing the gasps of her members she quickly resumed her speech. "As his Deputy I am willing to take on the position as Leader and to lead ThunderClan. But first I want to approval of my fellow friends." The TC cats began to hollor "yesses" and "of courses". "The, tonight I will travel to Mouthermouth and talk with StarClan. Thank you."

Gingertail jumped off the rock and walked into her new den. There, lying stiffly, was Eaglestar. "Good-bye, my dear friend and mentor." Gingertail dragged out the Leader for everyone to see before he was to be burried.

Later that evening Gingertail began to make her way to Mouthermouth... where she would become what she had never expected.

Gingerstar entered the camp. The rain was setting in and most cats were in a den. "I am back." Gingerstar began to make her way to the lonely Leader's den, wher she was to now live.
